Situated on the banks of the historic New River and overlooking pastoral, mountain and river scenery. The riverside recreation area is a great spot for all to unwind. Offering steps into the river to fish, kayak or take a dip in the New River. Offering hammock, 2 picnic tables, fire pit surrounded by Adirondacks, water, electricity and lighting. Firewood provided for your convenience.
The house rests above the river providing an even broader view of the river and mountain scenery. Outdoor entertaining and unwinding has never been better. Covered deck accessed from the great room or either master suite it offers ceiling fans, patio dining table, and comfortable seating. The lower level patio offers, hot tub, seating, patio table set, corn hole and charcoal grill.
Step inside River Rocks and have the conveniences of a plush bed & breakfast, but YOU don't have to share with other guests!. The kitchen is well equipped offering range, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker(K-cup/regular drip combo) and other small appliances to prepare the family feast. Yes, serving is no problem with ample dinnerware. Farm style dining table comfortably seating 10. Floor to ceiling stone fireplace, Streaming-Roku TV and ample seating. Since some have to get work done on vacation, a work station is provided in the great room so you don't miss the conversations. Many books provided. Each side of the greatroom offers spacious Master Suite with king bed set, TV, dressing area and full bath.
Upper level offers king bedroom set, TV, twin bed and toddler bed, perfect for the young family. Full bath on suite. Also loft reading nook.
Lower level offers game room with custom wet bar, wine cooler, fridge, and microwave. The sitting area boasts stone fireplace, comfortable seating, Roku TV, seating, 5 hole putting green, 2 twin beds and full bath with jetted tub. Gameroom offers Air Hockey & Ping Pong. Children will enjoy all the games, toys and books specially left for their enjoyment. Just outside the game room unwind in the hot tub.

This mountainous area has been hosting visitors for over a century, and today includes such popular attractions as Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, the original Mast General Store, Mystery Hill and many others. In addition, you’ll find unique farms, wineries and orchards to tour and sample. Our downtown's offer great eateries, art galleries, specialty shops, cafe's, emporiums and antiques.

River Rocks was the perfect place for our family to meet up with our extended family during a crazy year when we didn't think it would be possible. The house comfortably fit our family of four as well as grandparents and brother-in-law's family of 5--11 total! We didn't feel crowded at all because of the layout. We had everything we needed right on site and never needed to leave the property for several days of relaxation, adventure, and fun. There was plenty of room for the 7 kids to run around together outside and the playground area is an added bonus that most rentals don't have. This was such a blessing for us because we live in the city and don't have much space for the kids to run and play. They could even have adventures on their own on a little trail in the woods along the side of the property. The lower level was a great hangout area for them to play board games and video games and give the grownups some peace and quiet upstairs. The river was also an exciting place for them to explore. We brought lifejackets and tubes, and we were able to walk up-river and float down. We also spent many evenings at the fire pit, relaxing by the river as the sun set. I also enjoyed running through the picturesque surrounding farmland and doing yoga on the large lower patio. My favorite part was the expansive covered deck areas overlooking the river. We spent almost all of our time out there enjoying the landscaping, river, and mountain view. We ate out there for every meal, read, and talked. There was space for everyone out there, which is amazing with such a large group. The weather was perfect, even a little chilly for August, so we could sit out in the fresh, clean air all day, every day watching the kids running around and even enjoying the views when it was raining. The owner was wonderful and accommodating, answering all our questions whenever needed. This is our new favorite place for vacation, and I highly recommend it for those who need a place to get away from it all!” Kim – Baltimore MD
River Rocks is the complete package. Beautifully appointed house with ample space for large families, expansive deck that functions as an outside room with 2 private alcoves for the book worm.
