Trail Plan Available Online
The NC High
Country Council of Governments has posted online a 7-county map of NW
North Carolina showing nearly 400 miles of existing and planned hiking
trails stretching across Ashe, Alleghany, Wilkes, Yancey, Mitchell,
Avery and Watauga counties.
